This World Diabetes Awareness, Diabetes South Africa will continue the awareness campaign called #ShowYourNumber. 50% of people living with Diabetes in South Africa are diagnosed and so it is time to know your number and take control. To participate in this this awareness drive follow these easy steps:

Step 1:

Go and get your blood sugar tested

MediClinic is running free Diabetes screening for the entire Month of November

Step 2: 

Take a selfie with your reading

Step 3:

Post the picture to all of your social media platforms using #ShowYourNumber as the hashtag and the following message:

I am taking control of my health - I got tested for Diabetes this World Diabetes Awareness Month #WDD #ShowYourNumber

Do not forget to nominate your friends to get tested

Step 4:

DONATE - Take the value of your blood sugar level and multiply by 10 and donate that value to Diabetes South Africa
